Good evening you primitives,
It feels like a long time since I’ve blogged, even a few days of absence can feel like eternity. So, I’d like to share a very important update with you, you’ll need to know it if you wanna keep following me on here.
This is the third time that I’ve changed the domain of this blog, and hopefully it’s the last time, I was trying to go for something more neutral than based specifically on one or two interests in my life, due to the fact that I obviously write about more than just one or two subjects.
So now my blog’s domain has been changed to “The Red-Headed Nerd”, what does that mean? Well I was born a redhead, my hair isn’t as red now as it was before, and even if it changes completely, in my heart I will always be a redhead. A nerd, well ever since I was little, my passions and general interests were always non-mainstream, and related to fantasy, sci-fi, etc. I’ve been part of that subculture for a long time, and I have defied they stereotypes of nerdism that society places on us. I wore it like armor, no matter how many nasty words people threw at me as I was growing up. I had a hard time not letting it hurt me, and now I’m proud to wear it like that armor, and no one can hurt me with it again. Thank you Tyrion Lannister for those words of motivation. See, it doesn’t just apply to bastards.
Now I’ll have to redo my Didact banner, because I still would like to keep that, so I’ll find the time to work my way around that since finals are next week.
I’m still going to also call this site The Galactic Diary of Music and Aliens, because it has a nice ring to it. The music part, since my music taste is expanding outside of just the heavy metal genre….yeah and aliens could mean anything besides ones that fly starships!
You’re probably asking why I didn’t just change it to Emi-Didact because that’s my name everywhere else, but since it’s already well known, I wanted something different.
So, if you haven’t already, you might want to re-add my blog to your following list on your own site or wherever you’re watching, just so you can keep reading.
Ciao.
